Course description This course in Financial Accounting and Reporting is a tailored for IBP students at CBS. The subject itself covers several aspects that all require the student to be well-informed about accounting methods and rules. Our experience tells us that students receiving dissatisfying grades often lack the ability to use the methods and rules in practical examples. It is, therefore, the focus of this course to not only equip the students with the tools to perform at the exam but also (and more importantly) to teach students how to apply the tools in an exam setting.    The intensive course is based on your specific syllabus and all assignments (prepared by Aspiri) are made on the basis of earlier exams which will provide you the optimal exam preparation.   Some of the topics covered in the course include: <ul> <li> Financial statements and Annual Reports</li> <li> Double-entry bookkeeping</li> <li> Cash basis and accrual basis of accounting</li> <li> Inventories and Cost of Goods Sold</li> <li> Cash, receivables, and bank reconciliations</li> <li> Fixed Assets and depreciation</li> <li> Goodwill</li> <li> Current Liabilities and Long-term liabilities</li> <li> Shareholders’ Equity</li> <li> Cash Flow Statements</li> <li> Financial Statement Analysis </li></ul>    The course will systematize your syllabus and give you pointers and tips for the examination.
